    Rúni M. Hansen is the Executive Chairman of the industrial holding company Tjaldur. He is also chairman of Bakkafrost, a leading producer of top quality salmon. He has served as Bakkafrost’s Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2009 and was in charge of the listing of Bakkafrost on the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE) in 2010. In 2011 Bakkafrost acquired Havsbrún – a leading producer of fish oil, fish meal and fish feedand he has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Havsbrún since. The Bakkafrost group is one of the world's most vertically integrated salmon farming companies. Bakkafrost controls all aspects of productionfrom feed to finished value added products.

    Rúni M. Hansen has had extensive experience in the international oil and gas industry during his 19 years in Statoil – now Equinorfrom 1997 to 2016. From 2012 to 2016 he was Head of Statoil’s Arctic Unit and a member of Statoil's Worldwide Exploration Executive Team. For a number of years he was the Country Manager for Statoil, in charge of operations in the Faroes and Greenland, including operated drilling campaigns. He has also been the Manager of Commercial and Negotiations for Europe and North Africa in Statoil. During his time in Statoil, he has been based in Copenhagen, London, Oslo, and The Faroe Islands.

    Prior to Statoil he was in the shipping and seafood industry.

    From 2002 to 2008, he served as Chairman of Vónin, a supplier of services and equipment to fisheries, aquaculture, and offshore, and as its Director from 1999 to 2008. He also served as Deputy Chairman of Føroya Banki (BankNordik) from 2003 to 2006 and as its Director from 1999 to 2006.

    He is member of The UN Global Compact’s Platform for Sustainable Ocean Business. He was a member of the World Economic Forum´s Global Agenda Council on the Arctic in the Period 2012 - 2016.

    He served as Chief Executive of BG Group from 2015 to 2016 when the company merged with Shell. He has over 15 years experience in the oil and gas industry, and joined BG Group from Statoil where he served as President & CEO for 10 years. During his time at Statoil, the company transformed into one of the world’s leading oil and gas companies.

    Prior to Statoil he served as President & CEO of Aker Kvaerner, an industrial conglomerate with operations in oil and gas, engineering and construction, pulp and paper, and shipbuilding. He has also held executive positions in Aker RGI, a Norwegian industrial holding company, and Hafslund Nycomed, an industrial group with business activities in pharmaceuticals and energy.

    He has also worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company and as a political advisor for the parliamentary group of the conservative party in Norway.

    He has a degree in business economics from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in Bergen, and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD business school in France.

    He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the International Crisis Group. He has served as a member on the UN Secretary-General’s Advisory Group on Sustainable Energy in the period 2011 - 2014.

    Líggjas í Bø is the former CEO and Chairman of the Board of Tjaldur. He served as Chief Executive of Tjaldur from 2004 to 2010, and as Chairman of the Board of the same company from 2010 - 2016.

    Líggjas í Bø has a long careers path in different industries.

    Prior to Tjaldur he served for 25 years as Chairman of the Board of Skipafelagið Føroyar (Faroe Ship), a shipping company which offers total transport solutions in the North Atlantic.

    He was chairman of Bakkafrost from 2006 - 2010, a period when the Faroese fish farming industry was totally restructured.

    Líggjas í Bø was also among the founders of the first commercial salmon company in the Faroes (P/f á Strond), and he was one of the main owners and CFO of the fish farming company East Salmon from 1990 - 2002.

    He has 3 years experience as a fisherman in the North Atlantic, and has been involved with various kinds of business over the years.

    He has a degree from the Business School of Copenhagen (Niels Brock).

    Nils Jegstad is Investment Director in Tjaldur. He joined from Nordea Investment Banking – Advisory (Corporate Finance) where he has headed the team covering the seafood industry.

    He has extensive experience from M&A and the Equity Capital Market and has conducted several transactions in both listed and private companies.

    Nils Jegstad has extensive experience in the salmon industry advising on the merger between Bakkafrost and Vestlax in 2009. He was also advisor on the IPO of Bakkafrost in 2010. He advised on the follow-on acquisition of Havsbrun in 2011, including Faroe Farming. He has also completed transactions in other sectors such as foods, poultry, branded goods and shipping.

    During 2008, Nils also worked with real estate in Pareto Project Finance, focusing on the syndication of commercial properties.

    Nils Jegstad worked with assurance in EY in the period 2006 - 2008 covering international companies within the seafood sector, industrial, metals, healthcare and financial services.

    He has a Siv. Øk degree in Economics and Finance from the Norwegian School of Management (BI).

    Janus Thomsen has had various positions in Faroese companies.

    Janus Thomsen is Chief Executive (CEO) of the industrial holding company Tjaldur. He became CEO of Tjaldur in 2022.

    He is also Chairman of Effo, a supplier of fuels, lubricants and related products and services to the Faroese market. He has been member of the board of Effo since 2022.

    He is chairman of the board of JT Electric, an engineering firm and supplier of technical equipment to the aquaculture and fisheries sector. He is also vice-chairman of the Board of Nema, a Faroese Telco, IT and computer company.

    From 2018 to 2022 he held the position as CEO of the energy company Effo.

    Previously, from 2011 to 2018 he served as Chief Executive (CEO) of Trygd, an Insurance company in the Faroe Islands, and as part of the group, also was the CEO of the Life-insurance company NordikLív. Prior to that he held various positions at Trygd.

    Janus Thomsen was also Chairman of the Board of the Faroese IT company Elektron from 2016 to 2018.
